Greenmount GP Surgery Community Health Walk 0161 253 6396

Tuesdays at 10:30:00

Minimum age 16

Inclusive Session

Any Gender

Aimed at a beginner level, this walk is led near to the KIrlees Trail which goes along a disused railway line, however to make an interesting circular walk, we use some footpaths and quiet roads. The walk is mainly on level terrain with occasional cobbled areas or muddy paths if we venture into the woods, so please wear appropriate footwear. Health walks are free local walks designed to help people become more active. They offer a safe, relaxed and sociable environment in which to walk. Each walk is led by trained volunteers and are 45 minutes to an hour in length. Health walks are perfect for those who would like to become more active or perhaps lack the confidence and knowledge about where to walk. This walk is arranged by Bury Council Sport & Physical Activity Service – for more information see https://tradedservices.bury.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=13392.
