Conway Road Health Walk, Sale 0161 282 8154

Wednesdays at 13:30:00

Minimum age 16

Inclusive Session

Any Gender

The walk starts and finishes at Conway Road surgery and alternates between a number of local routes. These are designed so that a shorter or longer route (ranging from 40-60 mins) can be taken, depending on the needs of the people attending, so they are suitable for people with health conditions. Just let the Walk Leader know which distance you would prefer. The walks are based on the local residential area but include Moor Nook Park and Walkden Gardens (see links below). All new walkers will be asked to complete a brief registration form. For more information, please speak to a member of staff at the surgery. This walk is organised by Walk for Health – Trafford, which is an organisation run by local volunteers, in partnership with Walking for Health, Trafford CCG, Public Health Trafford and Sale Sports Club. Our walks are promoted by local surgeries, but anyone can join in: you don’t have to have a specific health problem and it doesn’t matter what size, shape or age you are! Our wellbeing walks range from 45 - 90 mins and are suitable both for those wishing to start walking, or those wanting to improve their fitness, meet new people and discover open spaces in their local area. All walks are led by a trained Walk Leader, who will discuss any individual needs at the start of the walk, and plan support as necessary. For more information see
